Automation Engineer (L3) | Python, Ansible & DevOps | India

Location: India (Remote / Offshore)
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Extension Option: +12 Months)
Service Coverage: 07:00–19:00 CET + On-Call Support

We are looking for a talented Automation Engineer (L3) to help build and lead a growing automation capability supporting a large international customer environment.

This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, serving as the focal point for the Automation Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions using Python and Ansible
• Develop and maintain automation playbooks, roles, inventories, and vaults
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines
• Automate operational and infrastructure processes
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions
• Support Linux-based environments
• Collaborate with database, infrastructure, and cloud teams
• Act as track lead for the automation workstream

Required Skills & Experience

Strong Python scripting experience

Hands-on Ansible expertise

Experience with:

• Jenkins
• GitLab CI
• Azure DevOps

Monitoring and observability:

• Prometheus
• Grafana

Linux System Administration

Git version control

Cloud Platforms:

• AWS
• Azure
• GCP

Nice to Have

Docker

Kubernetes

Infrastructure as Code experience
