Senior Test Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Coordinator to support large-scale transformation programs related to regional vehicle taxation systems. The role involves coordinating end-to-end testing activities across multiple applications, ensuring quality delivery for major regulatory and business changes.
Role Overview
You will lead the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of cross-functional testing activities in a complex multi-application environment. You will work closely with program managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful validation of system changes and compliance with established testing standards and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end (E2E), cross-application, integration, and parallel-run testing activities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, schedules, and test strategies.
- Coordinate the acceptance and validation of project deliverables with program management teams.
- Monitor testing progress and ensure alignment with project timelines and quality objectives.
- Prepare and present test reports, risk assessments, and quality metrics.
- Manage and track defects, incidents, and test activities using Jira and Confluence.
- Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of testing methodologies across multiple applications.
- Support the implementation of testing best practices based on ISTQB and TMMi frameworks.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage and successful delivery.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, coaching, and testing process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Test Coordinator in complex IT environments.
- Strong expertise in test planning, coordination, reporting, and quality assurance governance.
- Experience managing end-to-end, integration, user acceptance, and parallel-run testing activities.
- Practical experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Java-based testing frameworks, or equivalent solutions.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and industry standards, particularly ISTQB.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate activities across different teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience improving testing maturity using TMMi or similar frameworks.
- Experience within public sector organizations or government institutions.
- Familiarity with taxation, finance, or regulatory business domains.
- Experience contributing to large-scale transformation or modernization programs.
Languages
- Fluent French (C2 level required).
- Additional knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset.
