Consultant Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in Amsterdam and contribute to innovative solutions involving AI, Chatbots, Cloud technologies, and modern enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java architecture, Spring Boot, Azure Cloud, and AI-driven development, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop AI-powered solutions including Chatbots, Generative AI (GenAI), Agentic AI, RAG, and MCP-based solutions.
• Work with modern cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure and AKS.
• Build and integrate backend services using Java 17, Kotlin, REST, SOAP, and enterprise design patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Develop and maintain integrations using technologies such as Kafka and MQ.
• Work with databases and caching solutions including PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Support CI/CD processes and modern DevOps practices.
• Monitor and optimize applications using tools such as Dynatrace.
• Contribute ideas, demonstrate initiative, and help drive innovation within the team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–10 years of experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Java Architecture and Advanced Java Concepts.
• Hands-on experience with:

  • Spring Boot 3
  • Azure Cloud
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Kafka
  • MQ
  • GitHub and CI/CD tools
• Experience with AI technologies including:
  • ChatGPT
  • GenAI
  • Agentic AI
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP services, UML, and design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Front-end experience with Angular 14.
• Knowledge of SAFe methodology.
• Experience in the airline domain.
• Enterprise Architecture experience.
