Job Title: Data Warehouse Developer (Semantic Expert)

End Date: 15/07/2027 (60% assignment, extension possible)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Warehouse Developer (Semantic Expert) to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of data standards and semantic models. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve data interoperability, develop domain models, and implement Linked Data standards while contributing to modern data warehouse and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain semantic data models, domain models, and data standards.
• Ensure semantic consistency and interoperability across projects.
• Implement and support Linked Data and OSLO standards.
• Develop data warehouse solutions and support ETL, BI, metadata, and reporting components.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to define and validate standards.
• Contribute to the development of tools supporting data standardization and governance.
• Apply Agile methodologies and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data warehouse modeling.
• Experience with semantic interoperability and Linked Data (RDF, JSON-LD, SPARQL).
• Knowledge of UML or BPMN modeling.
• Experience with data warehouse architecture, ETL, BI, metadata, and tools such as Cognos or DataStage.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Dutch (CEFR C2).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Linux, DevOps, Git, CI/CD, REST APIs, Node.js or Vue.js.
• Experience implementing Linked Data solutions and semantic standards.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and shell scripting.

Work Arrangement: 60% freelance assignment with hybrid working available. Initial workload of approximately 100 man-days in 2026, with the possibility of scaling up and extending the engagement.
