Job Title: Analytics Engineer (Freelance)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join a Data & AI team supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will bridge the gap between data engineering and business analytics by transforming raw data into reliable, well-structured datasets for reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data transformations using SQL and dbt.
• Build and maintain data models and ensure data quality using tools such as Great Expectations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Integrate and optimize data from multiple sources for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to deliver high-quality data products.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support BI and data visualization initiatives using tools such as Power BI, Metabase, or Apache Superset.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer.
• Strong SQL expertise.
• Experience with dbt and data modeling.
• Basic Python knowledge.
• Experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Fluent Dutch (C2 level).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS (Athena, SageMaker), Spark/PySpark.
• Knowledge of Scrum and DevOps.
• Experience with Great Expectations and Power BI.

Work Arrangement: Full-time freelance assignment with hybrid working available.
