Senior PMO Officer – Strategic IT Transformation Programme
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior PMO Officer to support a large-scale IT transformation programme focused on modernizing and simplifying a complex application landscape through the implementation of a new integrated back-office platform.
As a member of the Program Management Team (PMT), you will play a key role in programme governance, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and information management. You will work closely with programme leadership, delivery teams, product owners, change management, quality assurance, and business stakeholders to ensure successful programme execution.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management & Information Governance
- Support the Program Management Team in monitoring programme progress and identifying priorities, risks, and focus areas.
- Manage, structure, and distribute programme information to various stakeholder groups.
- Ensure consistency and quality of programme documentation and communications.
Planning & Reporting
- Maintain and update programme and project plans in collaboration with delivery teams.
- Coordinate recurring programme reporting cycles.
- Act as process owner for governance, reporting, and programme management processes.
- Prepare executive reports, dashboards, KPIs, presentations, and decision-making materials.
- Consolidate programme metrics and provide management insights.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Organize and coordinate steering committees, governance meetings, and stakeholder workshops.
- Prepare agendas, meeting documentation, minutes, and action tracking.
- Follow up on decisions, risks, issues, and action items.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support communication and alignment across multiple teams and workstreams.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience in PMO, Project Management, Programme Management, or a similar governance-focused role.
- Proven experience supporting complex IT projects, digital transformation initiatives, or enterprise-wide programmes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
- Experience creating executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of project governance, reporting frameworks, and programme controls.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Power BI and management reporting solutions.
- Experience working in large-scale transformation programmes involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or traditional project delivery methodologies.
Languages
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Good knowledge of French is considered an asset.
