About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP HANA Cloud Consultant to join a high-impact digital transformation program in Eindhoven. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP BTP HANA Cloud modeling, HANA migrations, and SAP HANA development, with a strong background in cloud-based data solutions and modern DevOps practices.

This role requires a hands-on consultant who can design, develop, migrate, and optimize SAP HANA Cloud solutions while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop SAP BTP HANA Cloud data models using Calculation Views, Table Functions, and SQL Stored Procedures.
  • Build scalable and high-performing data solutions within SAP HANA Cloud environments.
  • Participate in end-to-end SAP HANA implementation projects as a HANA Modeler.
  • Lead and support HANA Cloud migration initiatives using XSA Migration Toolkit and related technologies.
  • Develop and maintain XS Advanced (XSA) applications and services.
  • Work with XSOData and XSJS services to support application development and integrations.
  • Support data provisioning and integration frameworks including SDA, SDI, and SLT.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams using BitBucket and Jenkins for source control, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
  • Optimize SQL code and database performance for enterprise-scale applications.
  • Work closely with business users and stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud-based solutions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and drive continuous improvements across the SAP HANA landscape.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years of SAP HANA development and consulting experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of strong SAP BTP HANA Cloud Modeling experience.
  • Expertise in:
    • Calculation Views
    • Table Functions
    • SQL Stored Procedures
    • SAP HANA Data Modeling
  • Good working knowledge of SAP BW on HANA.
  • Experience working on at least two full-cycle SAP HANA implementation projects in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of XS Advanced (XSA) architecture, features, and capabilities.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on XSA Migration experience.
  • Experience with HANA Cloud Migration using XSA Migration Toolkit.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • XSOData
    • XSJS
    • SDA (Smart Data Access)
    • SDI (Smart Data Integration)
    • SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation)
  • Strong SQL development and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience with DevOps tools including:
    • Jenkins
    • BitBucket
  • Exposure to SAP HANA Cloud migration projects is highly desirable.
