IFS Functional Consultant – IFS Cloud & PSO SME

Contract / Full-time Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced IFS Functional Consultant to support a major IFS Cloud and PSO implementation programme in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IFS Cloud Service Management, Planning & Scheduling Optimization (PSO), and field service operations, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective functional solutions.

This role requires a consultant who can work closely with business stakeholders, configure solutions, lead testing activities, deliver training, and support successful implementation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse business processes and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional IFS PSO solutions
Conduct workshops and configure:

• IFS Cloud Service Management
• IFS PSO (Planning & Scheduling Optimization)
• Related modules including Projects, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance

Support field service operations across all phases of the implementation lifecycle
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements
Create and deliver end-user training materials and sessions in Dutch
Provide ongoing functional support, troubleshoot issues, and identify improvement opportunities
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integrations between IFS Cloud and third-party systems
Maintain functional documentation including:

• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Solution Design Documents (SDD)
• User manuals

Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and manage expectations effectively

Required Experience & Skills:

6–8 years of experience as an IFS Functional Consultant
Minimum 5 years of hands-on IFS expertise
Experience with at least 2 full-cycle IFS Cloud & PSO implementations
Strong knowledge of IFS Cloud Service Management and PSO configuration
Experience within field service-driven industries such as:

• Utilities (electricity, gas, water)
• Asset-intensive service environments

Strong understanding of business process analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation activities
Experience preparing functional documentation and supporting end users
Fluent in Dutch and English

Preferred Background:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
